Neither the inner nor the outer ring of the swivel bearing is machined with gears. It is a smooth raceway ring. The raceway is of an arc-shaped cross-section and relies on a single row of steel balls in contact with the arc-shaped raceway at four points to bear combined loads. It can simultaneously withstand axial loads, radial loads and overturning moments. It does not directly provide rotational drive and is suitable for medium and light-duty equipment that does not require gear transmission. The structure is compact, the weight is light, the installation space requirement is small, and it is suitable for equipment that is sensitive to self-weight.
