As one of the core logistical and industrial epicenters of Europe, Belgium's heavy machinery, offshore maritime operations, and automated logistics systems demand unparalleled reliability from mechanical components. The strategic integration of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, coupled with extensive wind energy investments in the Belgian North Sea (such as the Thorntonbank and Mermaid offshore projects), has pushed the operational criteria for slewing bearings and rotary drives to new heights. Equipment operating in these environments is subjected to severe corrosion, extreme wind load moments, and continuous operational cycles. To survive these parameters without premature failure, engineering projects require components manufactured under strict E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) criteria.
In addition to heavy industries, the automation corridor between Flanders and Wallonia is expanding its footprint in robotics, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), and intelligent warehousing. These smart industrial applications demand smaller, high-precision slewing support bearing designs (like L-type and light single-row ball configurations) that maintain zero backlash and low rolling resistance. Jiangsu Manchen Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. addresses these specific demands through customizable internal/external gearing structures, heat-treatment precision, and optimized metallurgical alloys, serving as a primary link in the global supply chain for Belgian industrial procurement managers.
Belgian maritime cranes and wind platforms face constant moisture and salt spray. Our advanced sealing solutions (NBR/HNBR) and specific zinc-nickel anti-corrosion coatings ensure long service lives under harsh North Sea conditions.
Whether in heavy excavators or port bulk-handling systems, our three-row cylindrical roller slewing bearings deliver high dynamic tilting moment capacity, maintaining system structural integrity under fluctuating load paths.
For Belgian robotics, medical equipment, and precise tracking arrays, our gearless and cross-roller slewing rings are ground to exact tolerances, reducing positioning error and minimizing gear noise.
The company is located in Huangtu Town, Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, with very convenient transportation. The company has mature technical conditions and advanced equipment. Relying on exquisite forging, heat treatment and precision processing techniques, we can provide high-load-bearing, high-strength and long-life transmission solutions for construction machinery, medical equipment, intelligent warehousing, photovoltaic industry, port machinery, industrial robots, environmental protection equipment and other fields. A slewing bearing’s performance depends fundamentally on two variables: the base metallurgy of the ring forgings and the precise execution of raceway induction hardening. At Jiangsu Manchen, our design engineering group specifies either 50Mn or 42CrMo depending on the dynamic and static tilting moments required by the application.
For general construction machinery operating in domestic environments, 50Mn carbon steel provides excellent surface-hardening capabilities and cost efficiency. However, for the challenging, low-temperature, and corrosive marine conditions characteristic of Belgian offshore ports, we recommend 42CrMo alloy steel. 42CrMo features superior hardenability, high fatigue strength, and higher low-temperature impact toughness, ensuring resistance to brittle fracture down to -40°C.
To support high axial loads and heavy overturning moments, the raceway must undergo localized induction hardening. Our process controls the depth of the hardened layer to between 3mm and 5mm, depending on ball or roller diameter. The surface hardness is strictly maintained within 55 to 60 HRC. The transitions between the hardened zone and the tough core are structurally optimized to eliminate sub-surface shear failures. A critical zone in any slewing ring is the "soft zone" or "hardening gap" (marked by an "S" on the outer perimeter), which is positioned away from the primary load direction during installation to prevent concentrated fatigue stress.
We offer three primary configurations: gearless, internal gearing, and external gearing. For high-torque applications in cranes and wind platforms, internal or external gear teeth are cut using high-precision CNC gear shaping machines. We can perform individual tooth induction hardening (tooth flanks or flanks and root) to achieve 48 to 55 HRC, reducing friction wear and preventing tooth breakage under high shock loading.
Our facilities maintain ISO 9001 and high precision testing compliance to support European quality specifications.
Every industrial project features unique load dynamics, spacing constraints, and environmental factors. Recognizing that catalog-standard options do not always fulfill complex requirements, Jiangsu Manchen provides comprehensive OEM and ODM engineering services. Our research and development center operates advanced Finite Element Method (FEM) software to simulate bearing stresses, elastic deformations, and structural behavior of matching bolting patterns under real-world Belgian operations.
Our customization envelope includes:
We work closely with machinery designers across Brussels, Antwerp, and Liege from the initial design phase through prototype testing to serial manufacturing, ensuring that all components deliver reliable performance in the field.

For Belgian OEMs and engineering firms, sourcing mechanical components internationally is about more than just manufacturing cost; it requires managing risk, minimizing transit times, ensuring compliance with European quality standards, and reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Jiangsu Manchen has structured its logistics and delivery networks to offer seamless integration into European production lines.
All slewing rings destined for Europe are accompanied by material certificates in compliance with EN 10204 3.1, which guarantees the chemical composition and mechanical properties of the underlying steel batch. Our components are manufactured to align with the requirements of the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, facilitating integration for machinery builders who must apply the CE mark to their finished equipment.
Jiangyin’s proximity to major international shipping hubs like Shanghai and Ningbo allows us to secure reliable container routing directly to the Port of Antwerp-Bruges or the Port of Zeebrugge. For urgent prototype runs or production line downtime events, we leverage express air cargo routing via Liège Airport (LGG), a primary air logistics hub in Central Europe. This ensures that custom replacement components can reach Wallonian and Flemish factories quickly.
While the initial acquisition price is lower than domestic European alternatives, we focus on durability to maximize value. By using high-precision raceway grinding, induction hardening, and high-performance lubricants, Manchen slewing bearings minimize the frequency of replacement. Our design life calculations estimate a significant reduction in long-term maintenance costs, reducing the overall lifetime cost of your rotational systems.
In line with Industry 4.0 trends and Belgium's growing focus on industrial automation, the future of heavy machinery components lies in connectivity and intelligent monitoring. Jiangsu Manchen is investing in R&D to develop smart slewing bearings equipped with integrated sensor networks.
